The KW height-adjustable spring kit is used to lower the vehicle in combination with the original shock absorbers. Unlike conventional spring kits, the height can be individually adjusted within a TUV-approved and tested adjustment range. This solution uses special threaded rings with vehicle-specific springs and bump stops with dust covers suitable for the application. This way, the original shock absorber system, even those with electronic adjustment, remains intact and does not need to be replaced if still in good condition.

The use of high-quality chrome-silicon steel springs in KW height-adjustable spring kits is specifically designed for each vehicle, taking into account the characteristics of the original shock absorbers installed and the wheel loads. When developing the respective spring sets, we also ensure that the spring rates perfectly match the various damping characteristics of your original adaptive suspension. This means you can experience your car more directly and dynamically even with a KW HAS (adjustable springs). KW coilover springs are ideal for drivers who want a customized lowering of their car without replacing the standard shock absorbers.

Similar to a complete coilover suspension, KW height-adjustable springs also allow for adjustable lowering within a precise range. This is not possible with conventional lowering springs. The dust protection elements and spring mounts included in the scope of delivery are always adjusted to the maximum possible lowering. Therefore, with KW height-adjustable springs, it is possible to achieve a sporty and harmonious driving behavior without compromising the driving dynamics of performance-oriented vehicles.
