KW V4 Racing - 3-Way Track Technology


The new KW V4 Racing competition coilover kit is a further development of our GT4 motorsport customer applications and is therefore the ideal solution for track and pure-play competition cars. Unlike the KW V3 Clubsport coilover kit, the KW V4 Racing does not have a type approval. Therefore, this coilover kit is designed exclusively for racetrack and circuit use with motorsport tires. The KW V4 Racing features independent adjustment of low- and high-speed compression and low-speed rebound.

Designed without compromise for competition

The KW V4 Racing coilover suspension kit is a vehicle-specific application for motorsports and is available in different versions for numerous vehicles.

Many of our motorsport customers choose a KW V4 Racing when they plan to participate in track days with non-street legal vehicles or when they are not ready to use a customer-approved sports suspension.

In its complete configuration, the KW V4 Racing is vehicle-specifically designed for the Nurburgring Nordschleife with regard to axle geometry, spacing, damping rate, spring rate, spring travel and wheel loads.

We produce the KW V4 Racing coilover kit with stainless steel MacPherson struts and an inverted monotube shock absorber cartridge directly at our headquarters in Fichtenberg.

The piggyback (external tank) is mounted directly on the suspension.

With the KW V4 Racing, the characteristic shock absorber design can be adapted to the customer's individual needs. With 15 clicks of low-speed compression, 12 clicks of high-speed compression, and 18 clicks of low-speed rebound, a variety of customization options are available for different tracks.

  • Unibal aluminum upper mounts (adjustable camber, depending on axle and car geometry);
  • High strength linear racing springs;
  • Adjustable low speed compression - Adjustable high speed compression;
  • Adjustable low speed rebound;
  • MacPherson strut spring struts in galvanized alloy steel;
  • Rear axle shock absorber housing made of aluminium alloy (depending on version).
