The MonsoonX can control up to two rotors or four cylinders with sequential injection and direct ignition. Alternatively, it can be used for up to eight cylinders with batch ignition.


This makes it ideal for naturally aspirated or turbocharged engines that just need a re-tune and one or two extra features, without having to upgrade to one of our higher-level ECUs.


The MonsoonX processing unit has been updated to provide 512 megabytes of data logging capacity, meaning significantly more data can be recorded at a higher sample rate. The control loops are also more precise than its predecessor, the G4+, along with innovations such as single-precision floating-point fuel tables, improved ignition resolution, and faster communications. These upgrades make the G4X Monsoon a real powerhouse in a small package.


The G4X is 512 megabytes at 32-bit and uses up to 250 channels, each limited to a maximum of 1 kHz per channel (by the operating system), with a maximum of 100 kSamples/sec.


With the MonsoonX, you get all the tuning features of the AtomX, but you can also choose to activate some of the following features: Launch Control, Anti-lag, VVT Control, and Closed-Loop Boost Control. It also features a built-in 4 or 7 bar MAP sensor, further reducing installation costs. Now with Knock Control.


Note: MonsoonX will run all of the above functions, but not all at once. The number of functions that can be run depends on the limited number of inputs and outputs required for each function.
