The KW Clubsport coilover transfers extreme technology from the world of motorsport to track day/road use.
The coilover setup KW Clubsport It's designed for track day setups and cars with semi-slick tires. Race feel approved for street use! KW Clubsport It uses motorsport technology for high-performance road cars with a semi-slick setup for track-day and street use. It comes with aluminum upper camber plates to adjust the suspension geometry based on tire type and wear.
Designed on the toughest track in the world: The Nürburgring Nordschleife
The coilover setup KW Clubsport It offers you the possibility of modifications for slopes with different surfaces, sharp curves and sudden changes in gradient. KW Clubsport It is in its ideal environment among the famous curves and twists of the 20.8km Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.
As a suspension manufacturer supporting numerous different racing series, KW has achieved six victories at the ADAC Zurich 24-hour race in the last 10 years at the famous Nürburgring and the 2011 ADAC GT Masters championship. More than 70 race teams are equipped with KW coilovers in the VLN Endurance Championship. These teams rely on the experts of the KW racing team to configure the set-up of their cars. This information is then used to develop the KW Clubsport coilovers and is further tested on the 7-position driving dynamics simulator.
The KW V3-Clubsport and the KW V4-Clubsport (with separate reservoirs for high and low compression speed adjustment) provides the user with numerous adjustment possibilities, allowing him to adapt the suspension to his driving style and the car's tyre and wheel set-up.
Compression and rebound forces are adjusted independently and separately via clicks on the adjustment wheel integrated into the strut. Most applications also come with upper bearings for camber adjustment.
KW V3-Clubsport Coilover Racing Technology
The rebound adjustment knob offers 16 precise clicks to help you find the perfect setup for your vehicle. This gives you the ability to influence the load on the wheel/tire combination while taking into account the chassis characteristics. Compression adjustment is independent of rebound; 12 precise clicks adjust the low-speed damping forces. It's primarily used in conjunction with wheel/tire setup.
These adjustments allow you to find the right combination for the weight of the car, the wheel/tire combination, different road surfaces and different environmental conditions.
